My last times were somewhere around 413 days. With the short turn around, I figure it is time to get back in the game.
Outstanding! Congratulations. Looking more and more like tryin to stay out of the NFA process is going to be difficult, and expensive.E-form 4 applied 12/02/23.. Approved today !
I almost had heart failure
Yeah, it does eat up your play money budget, that's for sure !Outstanding! Congratulations. Looking more and more like tryin to stay out of the NFA process is going to be difficult, and expensive.
I’m waiting on my 5th and 6th stamp, now. 11/30/23 & 12/01/23. I thought my last one clearing in a little over 5 months was awesome. 2-3 months would be incredible. But I’m not holding my breath. My next one, if I dare, will be a Hyperion or a Diligent Defense Enticer L. At $4-700, for titanium, it’s hard not getting the EnticerI first thought that too, but read the part about the guys reading on Reddit about quick turnaround times. I hope those that posted this is able to clarify, it certainly is puzzling.
13-14 months, yeah - big problem. 30 days to worrying and complaining, just a whiner IMHO, get over it.
I’m not really sure tbh. Just doesn’t sound kosher. If I can expect a 30-40 day approval, I’m jumping back into the NFA pool. After my last one (6th overall) I swore I’d never go back into that mess. With faster turnarounds, I think I need dedicated 338 Lapua, and 50 Beowulf cans.
They have to show that they are keeping approval times low, so they have those who have a long time for approval and those who get rapid approval. They take the numbers and get the average and state that is the approximate waiting time. It's bull. They know it, we know it, congress knows it. But until they really have a reason that is codified in the law to do approvals within so many days, they can keep thumbing their bosses at us.The whole process is messed up. Approvals shouldn't take that long after NICS is complete. We should all be contacting congressmen. Maybe if people bug them enough they will put some heat on the ATF.
I just refuse to sit here and turn into one of those horror stories of people waiting over a year to get processed. Both mine were under 60 day approvals after sending out emails. It was less than a week after I contacted my congressman that I got my approvals. I wish I would have done it sooner.
Nope! I’m 2 outta 3 of those, and I’m waiting reported average times as well. They have to show that they are keeping approval times low, so they have those who have a long time for approval and those who get rapid approval. Scary thought is that LE, military, and PMC applications are probably moved to the front for rapid approval, yet the citizens that pay the tax stamp are on the back burner. Kinda backwards way to do things.
I think he means Police agencies and Military organizations. Not cops and vets.Nope! I’m 2 outta 3 of those, and I’m waiting reported average times as well.
