Vepr 54R love?
I purchased mins after the SB281. The transferring dealer told me parts are not interchangeable with an AK so therefore its not an AK......dunno. Don't feel like getting into that debate so I'm just going to leave it at that. -

Atlantic is about the best place to get one. Shooters Supply in Berlin will do Vepr Transfers. Agreed on the ammo. I did't buy it to shoot nasty old ammo out of it. I only buy new production steel to feed it. I've though about trying to get some brass to do some reloads and see how that... -

I'm a member there and after chatting with them was convinced this was the way to go. I like it for the mills.....I also have one on my heavy .22 target rifle. -
Building a garage
A garage is always a desire for more.... More floor space, higher, more power, more lighting, bathroom.....just about everything. I planned for over a year before finally building my garage. My only two regrets. About 20 more feet and enough room for a separate office.- WheelHead

I had submitted that Vepr back in January of 2013 after pining after one to get a dafinitive answer. Buy the time it got published over 8 months later I had changed my mind. After speaking with two local dealer it was explained that since the part where not interchangeable there was no problem... -

+1 for a better mag for the 54 not a fan of SGM stuff. Manticore has a new Vepr HG out but I think its on pre order until Oct 1....might wait for that...dunno....I'm to indecisive....lol -
