Massad Ayoob Group MAG40 class this summer

I took the mag 40 a couple years ago near OC. If you're on the fence about the time or iffy on the cost, get off it and find the money, find the time and make it happen. You won't regret it. Mas delivers a ton of information, and has quite the sense of humor considering the topics being...

      Spray paint removal

I'd try denatured alcohol and aggressive rubbing with a rag. Start simple and with less aggressive chemicals. I'd stay away from acetone, lacquer thinner, naphtha, mek, and xylene (goof off) if possible. I've seen most, if not all of those damage various plastics. I've actually used mek to glue...

The Law of Self Defense Seminar with Attorney Andrew Branca

I listen to his podcast, he has a true skill for making legalese plainly understandable. I will definitely be there and drag a few friends along who now say they wish they had come to MAG40 with me a year and a half ago.

      Recommend a Good Jewelry Store

I concur. He is almost TOO friendly. He made up a pair of earrings for my wife last year.

Howard Leight Impact Sport Electronic Earmuff Review

As others have said, got em, like em, good value. Got mine in anticipation of the MAG 40 class last year and about 1/3 to 1/2 the class was using them as well. No reports of anyone having any issue with them. I have had a bit of feedback a couple of times but it's never been too bad.

Bowtech Carbon Knight/Apex Sighting in Procedures?

If there is a rule of thumb, I haven't learned it yet. I think you may be worrying about this more than you need to. Play with the sight, sling some arrows, repeat.

Bowtech Carbon Knight/Apex Sighting in Procedures?

I couldn't tell if the hash marks on my sight were graduated for anything specific, I guess not because it will change depending on the set up. Get out the Allen wrenches and start playing with it. Remember that you are moving the front sight, move the pin/sight in the direction of where the...

      AK 47

Yup. Pistol is fine, but I'd leave the rifle home. Go shoot it at his home range.

Anyone ever fish Possum Point in Annapolis?

I had never heard the name Possum Point. Just looked it up on the chart, I've gone right by it a number of times by boat. I work right around the corner on the next creek.

Is this old .22 ammo collectible?

Federal. Ok, I'm seriously considering selling, but don't want to turn this into a fire sale thread. If I come to the final decision to sell, I'll will post it up in the classifieds. The couple of you who have expressed interest will get first dibs, but in accordance with MDS rules, the sale...

Is this old .22 ammo collectible?

I like the sound of that! Now to decide whether or not to keep all of it, just because it's cool. Definitely keeping a few boxes.

      $5.00 per round right? ;)

Is this old .22 ammo collectible?

I got my hands on some old .22 ammo and am trying to figure out if I should squirrel it away, sell it or shoot it. I don't have the slightest bit of knowledge about collectible ammunition. 4 full and 1 partial brick of Montgomery Wards high speed 22 lr. My research indicates that this...

ProArms Podcast - Take a listen!

Awesome podcast. Unfortunately they don't always come out on a regular basis because Mas and Gail are super busy people, but the information they provide is timeless and is still interesting to go back and listen to old episodes. They are good people too.

      WTB a 10/22 receiver, regulated?

There's other producers of "10/22" receivers though. Nodak comes to mind.
