Bersa Model 83 .380 I Inherited. Sweet!
I recently acquired an old Bersa. Was amazed when I took it to the range! Flawless. AND, once I found the sweet spot, I could not miss. Ripped a 1-1/2" hole in that target.
The only thing was the take down was a little tricky. Had some trouble getting it...
Recalled a Week After I Bought Mine!!!
I bought a 22/45 Lite in May. My very FIRST gun! I didn't even get a chance to take it to the range and fire it before the recall! :banghead:
Of course, when I first got it I took it down, inspected and lightly oiled it before heading off to the range. I...
Ooooh, I LOVE taking things apart and putting them back together, seeing how they work! Got that from my dad.
Got into a little trouble when I decided to take the magazine apart though ... Yep! (((Sproing)))! Airborne! Getting that spring back in there was, uh, interesting! Ha ha ha ha...
I've always been a tomboy, so boys being boys is familiar, and pretty funny! I did find some women's threads. It's a fantastic site! I really like how seasoned shooters like you reach out to us little guys. Thank you!
And I will check out MSI!
Thanks, Iseries! Good advice. Yep, getting my technique down to where it's automatic will be enough of a challenge. Just got my first gun yesterday! Took it down and "cleaned" it. Darn thing bit me, 3 times! I am cured now of riding the slide! :innocent0
Want to say a BIG THANK YOU to ALL you folks, especially the oldtimers, out there welcoming a newbie! That means a lot! Great bunch here at MDS. I'm really going to like this! :D
Thanks for the encouragement, Biggfoot44! Just got my MSP letter to go pick it up today!!! ((( thrilled scream)))
Cleaning it will be a first for me. Great tips, thanks! Then I'll feel like it's really mine!
Thanks! The BEST thing was how it felt in my hand. Thought about a 9mm, but I don't want to frustrate myself. Then when he showed me how to take it apart? Oh yeah! Frustration factor 0!
Just started shooting last year. Yeah .... I know. So take it easy on me, y'all! Been hangin' at Gilbert's in Rockville, lovin' it.
Waiting my 7 days to pick up my first gun, a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite. Of course, a plinker! A girl's gotta know her limitations!
Just found MDS...
That's him! That's him!
Fuzzy bunny, Jim! You're amazing! You found him! Thank you so much! :lol2:
BTW, Clem Kadiddlehopper was my dad's absolute favorite of all time! Thanks for the laugh!
