New AR ... Need input... Please

You should be able to maintain a 3 inch group using iron sights and a prone supported posistion with that rifle. no need for an expensive optic or bi-pod. just sight picture, sight alignment and trigger control. now if you want to move back to say 400-600 yds than yes i would spend some money on...

Ok... and I thought the AK was hard to reload...

I highly recommend Front Sight for anyone who wants to further their training on any weapon system. I have been to a few of the other "larger" public training facilities and i can honestly say that Front Sight is head and shoulders above the rest. you can go on Ebay and purchase a certificate...

      Finding Commie Calibers in MoCo

7.62 x 39 It has been 6 years since i lived in Laurel but i used to buy 7.62 x 39 from a store called "The Gun Rack" located at the intersection of RT 198 and 29 in burtonsville. I have to assume that most if not all gun stores do carry 7.62 x 39.

Breaking in of a handgun/mag question

Failur to feed on a new weapon usually is a sign of an imporperly polished feed ramp. check slide for uneven wear and clean the weapon after every 150 rounds. if your handy with your weapon you can sand down and polish the feed ramp as well as wire brush the slide rails and lubricate the weapon...

      Shower gun

I have seen a nice mount for the shower, or anywhere for that manner, that mounts with 2 screws and is basically a very strong magnet. the top of the slide simply "sticks" to the magnet and can be mounted out of the showers overspray area in the shower and will only require a simple cleaning...

Ok... and I thought the AK was hard to reload...

The day this video was shot i shredded my support hand during a Type II malfunction clearing and had to spend the remainder of the day with a piece of terry cloth duct taped to my hand. i will post the video when i get back to work tommorow. after i cut my hand on that safety i tore the...
