      BUMP STOCK SUIT FILED!

So, does the bump stock ban give binary trigger owners ground to now stand on? The ATF said they didn't have legal the authority to grant approval to MD bumpstock or binary trigger owners. Now that they are regulating bumpstocks, but not binary triggers is there new langauge we should try on our...

      Fightlite MCR upper legality??

Brownells will ship no problem and has a 10% off coupon right now. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some obscure law making belt feds illegal.

      Fightlite MCR upper legality??

I was thinking of getting one, but the manufacturer won't ship to Maryland. I am not aware of any law restricing uppers in Maryland when matched to a lower owned prior to Oct of 2013. The MCR is even advertised as having a heavy barrel so wouldn't that make it an HBAR? Thanks

Grandfathering for Bump Stocks or Binary Triggers

I have an SBR I need to submit a 5320.20 on. I could put on the form that it has an binary trigger and see what happens.

      SBR's owned prior to 1-Oct-2013

It was originally built with a 7" barrel PWS diablo upper, which the form 1 reflects.

      SBR's owned prior to 1-Oct-2013

Awesome, that means I don't need a new "pistol" lower to get a new 6" 300BO upper.

      SBR's owned prior to 1-Oct-2013

Hello, I am looking for some clarity on for a lack of a better word "grandfathered" sbr's. I was under the impression that all SBR's in Maryland had to be > 29" oal, but from what I now gather that only applies to SBR's acquired after 1-Oct-13. There is also nothing preventing a SBR owned...

Grandfathering for Bump Stocks or Binary Triggers

Random thought - I wonder if anyone would get a response if they ask for authorization to possess based on a non Maryland address. From how I understand the law, you need to possess the binary trigger prior to Oct 1st 2018 and have applied for premission before then. The law doesn't state you...

      Hello from Dundalk

I've been in the Baltimore area for the last year, and recently bought a house in Dundalk. I moved here for work, but still maintain a house in Louisiana. I finally decided to join this forum due to the efforts its members are putting into working out the approval process for binary triggers...

Grandfathering for Bump Stocks or Binary Triggers

I am composing my binary trigger approval letter to the ATF, and was considering using this langauge in a seperate paragraph after the initial approval request. "Are there any current Federal regulations or restrictions that would prohibit my ownership of a binary trigger? If the ATF will not...
