      I have a CMMG AR-9 that runs on COLT mags and it runs like a top. The mags can be found at Brownells and CMMG for around $30. It is very fun to shoot and has little recoil.

      La Plata Question A. Yay or Nay to annexation (new Walmart)?

      I don't think it would have all that huge of an impact. There is one over in King George and it is barely different than the regular store (excpet for a few groceries). That being said I do not believe LaPlata needs one.

      This is very likely "shooter induced". Try firming your support hand grip and working with your trigger control. You will straighten out with practice.
