SB1 (2023) - Criminal Law - Wearing, Carrying, or Transporting Firearms - Restrictions (Gun Safety Act of 2023)

VA is shaping up to be even worse than MD. You aren't safe anywhere any more. Even Texas is starting to look purple'ish.

      MD handgun roster process ?

Forgive me for my ignorance, and if Im breaking any rules or failed to read a sticky somewhere. I am trying to figure out what the process is on getting a newly manufactured pistol (CMMG banshee 45) through the MD roster process. Apparently it isn't already on the roster. How does one do...

Possible coyote footage in Baltimore County

Thanks for the input guys, I think most people tend to agree they appear to be foxes, behavior seems to also match that of a fox. Glad these are not coyotes (for the cat's safety), although many people around my area have reported seeing (and hearing) them in the wooded areas. Cant wait to...

Possible coyote footage in Baltimore County

Shot this footage from my house viewing across the street, at night. I live in Perry Hall (not far from APG, where there have been many coyote sightings). I only live a few miles from 695, (just up route 1), fairly urban neighborhood. Can anyone identify what these critters are? Foxes...

      Harford County Coyotes

So as promised I managed to capture some night footage on my thermal. Here it is. WTF are these things? Kinda look a little too big to be foxes, but I'm not an expert. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnHZaEZ51vM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMk2DtJBZCI

      Harford County Coyotes

I've been going out at night around the parks with thermal (with recording capability) trying to score some footage. So far, no more sightings. Elusive little bastards! If I do film any I'll post back here

      Harford County Coyotes

I live near APG in Baltimore County (Perry Hall, MD) in a fairly urban neighborhood (still plenty of woods and surrounding farmland). Year ago, I saw one cross my trail in my neighborhood park. Thought it was a fox at first, but it was way too big to be a fox. This was the first time I've...

FNX-45 Tactical Break in Period for suppressor to cycle action?

I know this is an old thread, just would like to post some of my data. First time shooting my fnx-t suppressed yesterday (at Freestate), shot about 400 rounds (previously only ran 200 rounds unsuppressed through the gun total). Of the 400 rounds I shot suppressed (with octane 45) 200 rounds...

      14.5" fluted hbar options

I can vouch for DEZ's 14.5 spiral fluted HBAR...quality is sick for what you pay for.

renewed push to ban replica guns

My guess is the kid was probably using the replica to commit robberies...plenty of teens robbing people in Baltimore City these days (via real firearms and look-alikes). Any kid who willing to run from the police is probably up to no good.

For those who want to leave MD instead of fighting

I'm unfortunately stuck in MD for at least the next 5 years, maybe up to 10 years. I plan on moving but until then I'll fight like hell. Its not just MD that is at risk, every state is at risk. Our country is at risk.

Had a full auto mp5 go kaboom, kinda

Yeah I guess the only plausible explanation is that the can was loose (not properly attached, or maybe there is a problem with the can's internal spring loaded attachment system). I'm glad nothing serious happened, and no damage to the gun resulted either! Hopefully I get another chance to...

Had a full auto mp5 go kaboom, kinda

Was a 3 lug QD attachment, and yeah the guy said he knows how to lock it in, he has shot with it quite a bit. He did mention he cleaned it the night before so I am wondering if there was some kind of obstruction left on one of the baffles that got shook loose from the cleaning...
