Shorten shoot time
I don't shoot rifle often, but I'm usually done in 20 minutes. If they changed the time to 20 minutes on crowded days, that would make the turn around faster.
More bore lock questions
I understand that to purchase a handgun in MD and walk out of the store you must have a bore lock, not necessarily in the gun. First question, If you purchase one from the MD FLL dealer, why not just return the bore lock the next day? Second question, if you transfer...
Would you buy a Gen3 or Gen4. Both are about the same price. Some spring issues have been reported on the Gen4. Want to use mostly as range practice, but as Home Defense secondary.
Today is day 27 and I have 3 Incomplete - Application Section is pending additional information, you will be contacted. Day 29 & 30 will be a WEEKEND. Not sure what that means, never been in trouble with the law.....

Went to the range today to rent 2 pistols for try out. I found loading the magazine was hard on the thumb and finger. Any tips here??? Also, I see the pistol I want to buy (Glock 19 Gen4) comes with a speed loader. What is that?
Used to work in Hunt Valley so know the area, thus Continental it is. Called them and they have both pistols I'm interested in so tomorrow morning I will go there. Being retired is great :) Thanks everyone!
I live near Westminster and would like to rent a pistol at a range to see what I like before I buy. Mainly the Glock 17 & 19. Know of any place nearby?
Day 25
Today is day 25, assuming that you count weekends and only the License fee and DHMH - Department of Health and Mental Hygiene check are checked. I know they have a lot to approve. Still hoping for this week.
I just find it interesting that it takes so long. Yes I know they have a lot to approve, but if the limit was 15 days, it would take 15 days, and if they had 45 days, it would take 45 days. :)
It's like any other place that has a x day(s) timeframe, they always get it done in the last few...
