To shoot a double-action-only accurately, you have to practice a lot. If you only plan to shoot one or two times a month, you should get a regular double action, that way you can shoot it single action or double action. It is easier to shoot a gun accurately using it in single action.

First handgun shot was a Browning 22 pistol. The first handgun I bought was a Colt Trooper 375 6" revolver. Still got it and it is very accurate. With hot hand loads I use to be able to easily hit a silhouette target at a 100 yds. Now I am only good out to 50 yds.
