      Maryland legal AR uppper kits

Baltimore City, I decided to just pick up an HBAR barrel from Aero on black friday, ship it to my parents' in CA. When I'm home for Christmas I'll swap it out and zero it and fly it back to MD with me.

      Maryland HBAR specifics

Yeah I figured. I thought I was leaving behind vague firearms law in CA … at least it’s less vague here I guess

      Maryland HBAR specifics

Okay so I was also told by another store recently that if I have a .223 Wylde barrel installed that it doesn’t have to be marked HBAR but that ALSO doesn’t seem to conform with the law…

On the DROS CA marks stripped lowers as rifles “multi-caliber” so unless that doesn’t hold water in MD it’s a rifle

Talk me out of a P365....

Just picked up my XMacro today alongside my TRex Arms Ironside holster. I'm planning on using the XMacro grip/Ironside for competition and slimming down to an XL or standard grip with an AIWB holster when my W&C (hopefully) comes in. Coming from a stock gen 3 Glock 19 and having shot a S&W...

Lower was registered as a rifle in CA, not sure if that would cause issues. I don't have a problem putting a brace on it and registering it as a handgun but don't need a headache with all the brace-atf stuff that I haven't been following lately

      Maryland HBAR specifics

I am under the impression that any firearm that is capabale of sharing parts with an AR-15 style rifle needs to have a barrel stamped 'HBAR' in order to be legal. I am moving into MD from CA and have an Aero Precision build that I assembled myself. I am trying to decide whether I want to just...

      Maryland legal AR uppper kits

Hijacking this thread to ask where I can go to just have an HBAR barrel installed without gauging my wallet. I recently moved to an apt and don't have any of my tools/vice/etc. I asked Tyler Firearms and they said it would be a 3 week wait because they're backed up... I just moved to MD and...

      Application progress banter thread

Welp - that instructor also said that they've had plenty of students apply for both at the same time with the same set of fingerprints with no issues. I guess worst case scenario: the HQL doesn't go through because of the fingerprints and I use the HGP to get my HQL? I saw on MSI's website that...

      Application progress banter thread

I was told to apply for both HQL and HGP at the same time. Did I unnecessarily give MDSP/MD the HQL application fee when I could've just gotten my HQL right after my HGP for free?
