      Is a Trijicon ACOG Worth The Money?

      Going to try my luck as well in this thread. I am building an m16a2/m16a4 style rifle currently and I am looking for the look with an ACOG mounted onto the carry handle. I love the way this looks, but I don't love the $1000+ Trijicon price for these scopes. I realize a cheaper or fake/offbrand...

      I just looked around for the Aero Precision Kits and came across a full Kit on Battlehawk Armory's site. I don't think I can link to them directly, I guess my question is am I even legally allowed to buy a Kit and receive the upper and then do the barrel swap myself? It's obviously not an HBAR...
