Every state has its own regulations in regards to a background check, but at what point does the delay turn into an unconstitutional infringement of the Second Amendment? At some point the delay must cross that line or else states could never process a claim and day they are still investigating...
I've seen lots of posts that some of the January 12th paperwork had been lost. You might want to call and verify they got yours.

I hope you mean a TSA lock on the outside bag, and not on the hard case. The hard case is supposed to be locked with a combination or key and TSA is supposed to have you open and lick the case for inspection. They are never supposed to cut the lock off of a gun case if it had been properly...
