      Red Rooster, Damascus 04/30/23

Link, egg and cheese is the way to go. Used to eat breakfast there quite a bit when I lived in Damascus and it was always good. Their coleslaw was phenomenal as well. Haven't eaten there in a while though.

      Charter boat recommendations

Bayroamer charters out of Virginia Beach. He is a fishing fool. Have fished with him a fair amount and known him a long time. He is very accomplished at catching cobia, big reds, Spanish, spades, and a bunch of other fish. Specializes in cobia though. He won the east coast cobia championship a...

Introduction to Long Range Rifle class, June 3, 2022, Shadow Hawk Defense

Sounds like it will be a good day. I'm signed up for the June class. I have a fair amount of shooting experience between hunting, work, and competitive shooting but I have no experience with long range or precision rifle type shooting. Which is exactly why I signed up. Looking forward to it.

      Which suppressor?

Lots of options out there that are good. Having recently went through a search for my first suppressor which resulted in purchasing a dead air sandman k. My suggestion would be the dead air sandman s. It is probably the most versatile in series. With the keymo mount it is very easy to switch...

      Aimpoint ACO vs PRO

I agree with erwos. I have a pro on one of my personal rifles and on my work rifle. Not super impressed with the battery life on it. The one on my work rifle has a tendency to turn just being in a case in the car which doesn't help the battery life at all. The mount while built solid also adds...

      current ATF wait time

Just got the call today to pick my can up from jail. Check was cashed 4/8/2021. Form 4 individual. Dead air Sandman K. Probably going to get a .22 can next. Hopefully the new e forms will be a lot faster.

      Game/Deer Rifles and Cartridges

I usually hunt with either a .30-06 or a .45-70. I have taken more animals the 06. I take the .45-70 when I'm expecting ranges to be closer and the 06 when long shots are possible. I like them both and both have there place.

Yogi's cousin spotted in downtown Frederick

There are more bears around than most folks think. Have seen videos of them in Bethesda in a fairly populated areas. Have them on trail camera pics in the woods behind my house( frederick / washington county line near the river). Get my trash can knocked over every once a while by them. I hunt...

      AR optics

My 2 cents for what its worth, which isn't much, would be to get a more affordable optic to start that way you can have an optic which is really beneficial to have on your rifle. Then start saving for the optic you really want like an aimpoint, eotech, trijicon ect. When you get that optic you...

Light-weight AR build for the wife

I built out my girlfriends ar recently. She is fairly small/slight and isnt overly strong, but has started getting stronger since she started lifting and not just doing cardio and abs. I focused on cutting weight where I could. I couldn't find every part i wanted to use due to shortages and all...

      Ratting, anyone?

If you want to see some good ratting videos look up "Joseph Carter The Mink Man" on YouTube. He uses a Dutch Shepard that he is cross training in personal protection, various other dogs and mink that all work together to kill rats at various places like farms, old buildings, various businesses...

Best red dot for a Ruger PC9

I have a sig Romeo 5 on mine. I like it so far. By taking the riser off and using the low height mount I don't need a pad on the stock to maintain a good cheek weld but I do have a big head. I would look for a optic that has a low mount. Sig Romeo 5, sig Romeo msr, and some of the holosuns...

I totally forgot about that place, even though I got drug there as well. It was the mention of parking that jogged my memory. It was very good.
