why would you detour around a school? Just dont step on the grounds. I walk by a school on public space sidewalk every day on my way to the office. As far as that US concealed carry website, which has had many errors, they say parks are prohibited, and give a citation link, but that linked code...- rascal

yes, like I said you can carry on 90% of the Mall. Only a tiny protion are public memories such as inisde of W monument, etc. as you can bike or down the whole length and breadth. You can't go in buildings or on curtledge of the facilities/memorials. The times people have been arrested is...- rascal

Just incredible they inverted intent of law that stated 90 days clearly as a maximum, to a minimum. It is a defacto min. waiting period of 90 days when DC code states 10 days- rascal

Lots and lots of people charged with both carrying without permit and pistol license violation If you go to eaccess.dccourts.gov/ you can also find people with pistol license violation and criminal records that would certainly prohibit carry, and with a virtual certainty be hard NICs bangs...- rascal

NO it does not. I found dozens and dozens in just a few minutes of person changed with both carrying without license and "pistol license violation." Edit note: I am removing names. But these are real examples and just a sample of at least 50 I found in recent months.- rascal

WTF are people repeatedly posting these outright falsehoods? This has been addressed over and over. The within 1,000' being a school zone does not in any way create prohibitions.
