      Preparing For Spreading Coronavirus

The data is skewed and will continue to be skewed for a while since it got into a nursing home early. There are 50 more sick folks who are especially vulnerable over there.

      PSA: Mossberg 500 Safety Fails!

Bought mine in 1981. And it has been perfect. I even tore it down and cleaned it at the 30 year mark. Didnt need to, but figured it earned it!

      Comparing bullets a technical discussion

In my own testing, I certainly have determined that projectile quality/consistency is a key indicator of accuracy. I have gone as far as to weigh and load different lots based on their weight and found that this was somewhat less important. Weighing 500 77 SMKs gave a nice distribution around...

Thanks Brother. Yeah - It's like all our other pursuits, I suppose. Satisfying when you put in the research and effort to get good at it. If anyone has questions, gimme a holler.

Anybody making their own lures ?

Guys - A couple of you asked me to stop by based on a Water Cooler post. I've turned quite a few plugs over the years, and learned a few things. As you move through the progression from bait to lures to plugs to flies, you'll learn what matters and what don't. That is the allure of fishing...

Impact of Anti-Gun Legislation on Hunting and Formal Target Shooting in Maryland

I kinda skew the numbers I guess. I spend about $20 a season plus a license to take a deer or two. Maybe some fresh doe pee, and a bit of powder and ball. Now, fishing on the other hand.....

2A being turned into a heavily regulated privilege

We gotta be careful about how we tie that stuff together, otherwise we are no better than the opposition. They constantly tie together unrelated data to drive their agenda. 2013: 235 murders. (FSA in October) 2014: 211 murders 2015: 344 murders. (Freddie Gray riots in April) The...
