Let's get back to work, they've begun again...
Almost all politics is local. Other threads on this forum provide a detailed record on what has happened with each new gun control bill in the MD Senate over the years, and that is where we can ALL use our Constitutional rights and participate...
I’m very open to better options. At present we’ve lost the White House and both chambers of Congress. We do seem to have done much better in the Judiciary branch, but that branch by itself is reactive, not proactive.
I’m a concerned tax paying citizen worrying about those things too. The issue is “now what do we do?” Reengaging with more moderate Republicans is a better choice than anything remotely resembling the Capitol events of January 6th. Some of our comments here sound like an attempt to channel...
We are straying from the OP, here, but, briefly (a) Trump’s impulsive, defensive response to Covid prevented any coherent Federal approach was a huge failure and (b) so was his idea that we should isolate and marginalize ourselves and dismiss the news establishment as MSM because we might then...
Well played, Sir. But I’m not appeasing anyone, here. There is a Republican Party outside of Trump. I’m just suggesting we don’t further marginalize ourselves by isolating ourselves in a vortex of self reinforcing narrative. The GOP (my party) just got hammered, and we ought to be able to...

We should take a breath...
I’m concerned that we’re getting a bit overwrought here. I’m an older guy and remember being an adult who owned and shot my guns legally under every President since Ford. None of the Democrats (Carter, Clinton, Obama) stopped me from buying guns and ammo to shoot...
Agree. Hogan is the better choice, not ideal, but when judged by his actions, better. If you don’t vote, you don’t matter. Hogan gets my vote.

Much to unpack here, and in this thread, but isn't the real issue Much Simpler? For anyone supporting 2A who can vote in Maryland's election, there are really only two options, namely, vote for Governor Hogan or don't. Nothing is guaranteed, so if we fail to turn out for...
Judge Mark Crooks is doing a good job and should be re-elected, IMO. He’s also retired Navy and a 2A supporter who shoots at AAFG.
