      First hand? No. I live in Oakland and it has been the subject of much speculation and some concern, though from what I’ve read it’s not clear that an accidental shooting has been ruled out.

      Is ignoring the knock not the best option? Without a warrant it seems to me that I have no obligation to even acknowledge their presence. Presumably, if they have a warrant they’d shout something to that effect.
