      Why Truncated Cone?

      Ammo for lever guns needs to have a hollow point or a flat point. Round nose in a tube mag of centerfire cartridges can end up being a bad time.

      Correct. No rail on these. See second picture. Several companies make pic rails that attach to the top cover, or you could get an Ultimak rail that replaces the gas tube and upper hand guard.

      Yes. Long guns can be purchased from adjoining states as long as it can be legally purchased in MD. Some dealers won't as they just don't want to deal with MD rules.
