      It's great that MDS is the greatest internet news and research outlet, but when it comes to breaking news, can we please focus on getting it right, and not just 'right now'?? There isn't a prize for posting first, and not including anything more than "John Q did this" really isn't helpful...

      Been expecting them for the past several days, but nothing yet. Warblers, too... nothing other than Yellow Rump, Pine and Palm so far.

      Getting closer to full-on spring. Northern Waterthrush today at Downs Park... but unexplained Rough-Legged Hawks near Ft. Meade yesterday :shrug:

      Unusual sighting today near Tipton Airfield/Ft. Meade... A pair of Rough Legged Hawks circling, riding the breeze to the NE. They are not regular in this area, and this is the first time I've seen 2 at once in MD.
