And it shoots great too. No problems with bulleyes from 80 yards, and it was almost already sighted in. I'll try it out at a longer range in the near future. So far I believe this is my favorite purchase, more so than my AK, AR, and other guns.
I took the plunge last week and purchased a PSL from SOG. They were about $50 cheaper than J&G and the rep on the phone claimed the guns were in "excellent" condition. I must say that I agree with that statement. It wasn't even that dirty when I broke it down. This is how it looked when it...
I tried finding an SVT-40 because non-regulated is so much easier to purchase. I'm not sure about the "cheaper" part though. SOG has PSLs for $579. What few SVT-40s I could find were closer to $1,000. Perhaps the price has really gone through the roof lately?
Roland Park, huh? My office is just a few blocks away in Hampden. Let's just say I am not surprised.
Sadly, Roland Park is full of too many people who think guns are the problem. If the poor guy got wacked in the head with a gun, it could have just as easly been a tree branch or a baseball...
Same here, e-mail from Haines. Not only am I in Finksburg too, but I'm distantly related to the Senator (my Great Grandmother was a Haines and his family is tied to her).
I was torn between the Tokarev and the CZ-82, so I ordered one of each. Then, of course, as soon as I shot them I found each had their own pluses over the other. For me, the CZ-82 feels better in the hand, but the Tok has much more fire power and it's ammo is half the price. So I ordered more...
I'm hoping the correct form for an immediate family member gift/transfer is the 77R? They sure are hard to come buy. I went to an FFL I frequent and pretty much had to beg for one. I suppose they have them at an MSP Barrack?
I just blogged about this subject. Thanks to all who put this thread together. I love having my C&R:

I've lost count of how many 30's and 40's I've shipped to my property in PA. All of which come back to MD with me and reside at my primary residence. If there's any benefit to MD's 20-round limit, it would have to be limited to the fact that if I could get a bigger mag for my Saiga-12 I...
Heh, sure. We're Category B offshore rated. We go the the Bahamas each Spring, so 12 miles of MD is nothing compared to 60 off Florida. The only problem is hitting a target from a rolling vessel in ocean swells!
Here's the boat anchored at Allens-Pensacola Cay in the Abacos.

I promise I'm not lying here. Here's what I just went through:
Mailed Nov 19, 2009. Card charged Nov 23, 2009. License arrived Dec 8, 2009.
Is this a record?
I too believe that lead shot is a no-no for the Chesapeake. To my knowledge, it isn't illegal to keep a loaded shotgun on a boat that has a living compartment, a head, and a galley, as that qualifies as a home (despite what the lame animated required MD gun safety course attempts to claim when...
