I used kvp barrel, bolt, heavy spring and 7.5 oz buffer in a spikes receiver for my build. Runs subs and supers suppressed and unsuppresses I had to do some fine tune trimming on the buffer end for the LRBHO to work. I’m sure chad or outrider will chime in with more help.
1. The added weight isn't too bad to get used to. Look into modular cans that can be long or short configuration.
2. Shooting close range no problem basically look through the suppressor. Dead Air now makes flip up suppressor sights for glock check them out, they are definitely on my...
I used spikes receivers and Kvp barrel bolt and buffer along with their heavy spring. The only problem I had at first was the lrbho. I asked about that on another thread and outrider gave me a solution on the buffer and it has performed flawlessly ever since.

I’ve been curious about this has well. Manly if there any advantages on cleaning compared to shooting it dry. I clean mine every couple hundred rounds or if I’m not shooting with it for more then a week. But talk about a job.
I put a cheap sightmark (knock off eotech) on my 300blk. It’s been what you could expect from a $100 red dot, it has held zero for about 500 rounds but eats batteries for breakfast. I am planning on changing out soon to a primary arms scope for that round. Believe it or not I put a red dot on a...
The other side is close to breaking has well. It is not a RIA guide rod that broke the original full length came with the gun that I put back in tonight along with the original plug.
Took apart a RIA 1911 full size to clean and found the guide rod broken. Everything else looks fine, no problems while at the range shooting which is weird maybe broke during field strip if it was weak. Used gun I purshased last year I have probably put 600-700 rounds through it. Ever happen to...
