This is a rarely used shooting rest from Caldwell that I'm not using. These are great for zeroing in scopes. $50 of reasonable offer.

VA bill to shut down non state owned ranges.

I'll agree it's an FU to the NRA, but thinking arout ranges, it might affect more than you think. If a range is in a strip mall of 10 stores, each store would only need 5 employees each to hit the limit. Do they consider the building only the part occupied by the range or the whole structure?

      Westminster restaurants

I liked the place and was going to go there and happened to check the web and it looks like they closed.

      Fingerprint card

It's been a couple of years, but I've always had mine done at the public Baltimore County public safety building on Jappa Road.

      Freestate?

An Antisemitic comment with a smiley face is still an Antisemitic comment. No sarcasm intended.

Is joining Lifetime Fitness worth it?

I was a member about 6 years ago when I worked in Columbia and loved it. Never had to wait for a piece of equipment.

      Ink fingerprinting services

The Baltimore County Police did it at the public safety building in Towson. It's been a few years, so I don't know if they still do it,or not.

      Amateur Radio FAQ

Hi all, I'm selling my Kenwood TH-F6A HT and a TM-281A 2m mobile radio if anyone is interested. Here's the link to the TH-F6A ad on QRZ and the other one will be up shortly. If anyone is interested, I'll take $20 off the prices since I won't need to ship...

      Amateur Radio FAQ

I wasn't concerned about 2m/70cm since I already had a VHF/UHF radio. My opinion was "buy once, cry once". I haven't second guessed my decision to buy the KX3 over the FT-817.

      Amateur Radio FAQ

I have a KX3 and KXPA100 amp. I bought the KX3 right after I got my General ticket and worked a lot of South America on 12w. I live in a condo so the antenna isn't great. I've worked more with the amp, but never push it more than 50w because of the RF. In hindsight, I would have bought a...

      Amateur Radio FAQ

I use a TM-V71A as my base station because I wanted to play with Echolink. I wouldn't hesitate getting another except on medium power it's only 10w. For now, I'm using the cigarette lighter to power the radio and it's only rates for 10a. Most Yaesus put out 25w on medium. The reason I'm...

      Amateur Radio FAQ

Looking to replay the TM-281A in my car with something with a detachable face plate. I'm seriously considering the FTM-400DR radio. Does anyone here have experience with it? Leo

      Amateur Radio FAQ

Check out Potomac Valley Radio Club. They run a huge field day somewhere in Howard county. Last year there were doing W1AW/3 for field day running 24 stations. Just their portable antenna set up is impressive.

Shooting Steel - Want Information on Mounting/Hanging Solutions!

I shoot steel at the AGC a lot. They only allow rim fire on steel which, for me, means .22. I use steel plates with chains and "S" books on each end and haven't had a problem. If you're using a wood frame, it'll get torn up by the fragments from the bullets.
