      B&T GHM9 handgun with 16” barrel

For future reference, RRomig was exactly correct. Apparently, the MSP does not consider handguns with barrels of 16” or longer as regulated and therefore do not require a 77R, but they still have to go through the MD NICS Check. I guess in a way, at least according to the MSP and it’s...

      B&T GHM9 handgun with 16” barrel

Thanks for this response. I’m sorry, but I’m completely unfamiliar with the system used for this. It sounds like you are saying that the pistol should be able to be purchased and transferred in MD, but that there’s just something a bit different that is required (“consignment return”) in order...

      B&T GHM9 handgun with 16” barrel

When the FFL attempts to add the barrel length to the MD online system for transfer (sorry… not sure what to call it), the system spits it out as banned. Other barrel lengths “work”… just not the 16”.

      B&T GHM9 handgun with 16” barrel

The GHM9 is on the Roster and it ships as a pistol (no stock or brace).

      B&T GHM9 handgun with 16” barrel

I don’t mean to start a whole new “assault pistol” rant/thread, but I’m confused as to why a GHM9 with a 16” barrel is banned as an “assault pistol” according to my local FFL and cannot be purchased in MD, even though the GHM9 is on the approved handgun list. My FFL could not explain what makes...

Is this Heavy Barrel FN-15 5.56 legal $789

I know that there has been about a million discussions of this HBAR business in the past 5 years, so I do to want to start yet another diacussion on that. I guess the bottom line is that if this is advertised as a heavy barrel by the manufacturer, it must be OK. I guess I’m getting the LE6920...

Is this Heavy Barrel FN-15 5.56 legal $789

That’s what I thought, too... but if you check the MSP web site, it looks like somebody asked for a review and on 2/28/2018 the MSP decided that even though the Colt LE6920 SOCOM is (presumably) an HBAR, it’s now banned as a copy... unless I’m somehow reading that wrong...

      KRISS Vector Tail Hook Brace

Ah! OK... so other than that... there are no additional complications? The Tailhook adapter fits the same as the Gen 1 stock?

      KRISS Vector Tail Hook Brace

Nice job, Decoy! This looks really well done. So... I’ll bite. How did you manage to modify the Gen 2 stock so that it doesn’t look like you cut it with a hack saw?

      UZI in other than 9mm

OK, great! Thanks to everyone for the links and discussion... I do appreciate the feedback. This is exactly the kind of information that I was looking for!

      UZI in other than 9mm

I know that the 9mm UZI carbine is banned by statute, but the banned list doesn't say anything about other calibers... and the carbines do seem to meet the other MD restrictions (such OAL), but maybe I missed something. I have asked my local FFL dealer and he does not know of any reason why an...
