      Pocket Holster Carry

I have a couple of pairs of shorts where printing is an issue. As a test, I folded a thin piece of cardboard (it’s actually a heavy junk mailer folded double) in a rectangle that fills the pocket. I figured if it worked I’d replicate it with thin plastic. The cardboard works so well that I have...

      Pocket Holster Carry

I pocket carry a LCP Max with the supplied holster when wearing shorts. A binder clip on the outside of the pocket (which is inside the shorts) clipping the pocket and holster together holds it in place reliably and allows for draw. The pocket will still pull out a bit but the gun comes out...

W&C course openings in Cecil County this weekend

As the title says. A friend is hosting a course in North East this weekend and there are several openings. https://mdfirearmsclasses.com/

Nearest store selling more than 10 rnd mags just over the line

I’m curious what makes you say the DE Cabela’s is bad. I’m not a regular customer but have probably done a dozen or more transactions there in the last couple of years (as recently as last week). All have been just fine.

      PA CCW

I posted last week about how great the PA process is in comparison to MD. Today I rode back to York with a couple of friends who were picking up their permits. There was a different woman working and the experience was equally good.

      Auto inspection

I’ve had good experiences with AC and Collette’s. In fact, I have to take a vehicle back to AC for a reinspection tomorrow after replacing a sway bar link. Al has probably done 5-6 inspections for me in recent years.

      PA CCW

York does not do weekend pickup. I suspect the same for other counties.

      PA CCW

As everyone has said, MD could learn a thing or two about the process from PA. The thing that stands out to me is how welcoming PA is. MD makes you feel like scum for wanting a permit and PA treats you... well, like they are helping you exercise a right. There’s the “it’s easier than you think”...

So MSP actually verified your place of employment on a 77r?

      Private property with weapon screening

Anyone know the status of the National Aquarium? I prefer to avoid Baltimore whenever possible but the teenage kidlet wants to visit the aquarium. Edit: a refined search found a recent thread that indicates no issues with carrying.

Watching A Guy Open Carrying in JB's Severna Park

Yup, 100%. As you described it, I wouldn’t have done anything different in your shoes.

Watching A Guy Open Carrying in JB's Severna Park

Many years ago I was leaving a club and noticed a guy too drunk to stand attempting to ride off on his CBR600. I impulsively reached over and turned it off, then took the key. It wasn’t smart - I’m not a big dude or otherwise especially prepared for a fight. Having been on the receiving end of a...

Watching A Guy Open Carrying in JB's Severna Park

Plot twist: It was autobiographical. He’s passed out in a bathroom stall.
