I understand what you are saying on the pistol idea... I may go that way.
I do want to also investigate fully the SBR route cuz I have other toys to shoot & a comfy stock has its advantages...
So looking into it more I believe Barrel length & caliber needs to be decided on & submitted on a...
I am looking for some help/guidance with building an AR type SBR. The "Sticky" about SBR's at the top of the forum is dated 2008... Im sure a lot of it is still accurate but I have a few questions...
First off, the SBR I will want to apply for will be registered as "INDIVIDUAL".
I plan to...
This screenshot is from Capital Armory website that seems to show that they have gotten at least one INDIVIDUAL Form 4 back dated 7/30/16 (couple weeks after the mid July crush).
Perhaps the individual forms will start to pick up? (I'm waiting on an individual form 4 so I care)
Would one of those old Polish Flare Guns (w/the 12g insert) be able to handle these slugs? And/or would a persons arm/hand be able to handle these also?
I got me an AAC 762-SDN-6 back in Feb and STILL haven't gotten a chance to shoot it yet but the next few weekends are looking good...
I'd like to hear from owners of this can to know if it would benefit me to somehow "pre-treat" it before I shoot thru it?
Because it's a sealed can with no...
And now I will subject myself to another long wait for a 9mm suppressor...
Bought from Silencer Shop: 2/27/2017
Used SS Kiosk at Engage: 2/28/2017
Email from SS that Check Cashed: 4/9/2017
Hope to shoot it in the Fall of this year but who knows...
Crazy to think but I submitted an individual suppressor form 4 at the beginning of September 2015 & had my stamp back before the end of November ... 2015!
Will it ever be like that again?
Just picked up the 7.62 suppressor last Saturday.
Here it is on one of my 5.56 AR's but I have AAC muzzle break adapters for about 5 other long guns.
Now I just need time to get out to the range and decide what rifle will I shoot thru it first...
.
Got an email this morning that my suppressor was ready to be picked up...
Needless to say I was there an hour later & she's home in my safe tonight!
1 week from ATF approval till the stamp was back at my dealer... not too bad.
I DID buy local... Maryland Quartermaster in Fallston MD is more local than silencershop.com if you ask me.
Yeah I waited for them to have it transferred to them on a form 3 but all my $ stayed with a local gun shop in MD
And it was a year and that's BS in my opinion.
Next time I will...
