Great second transaction with Jolt. Great guy to deal with. Thanks!
This is my second transaction with Jolt and it went just a smooth as the first. He's a great guy to deal with and is knowledgeable about what he buys. Enjoy the P08 Luger, she's a snappy shooter.
Not to get off topic about the classes but I have a question about the range. Is it permissible to shoot pistols on the rifle side? If I'm mostly shooting rifles it's a bit of a pain to pack everything up and move to the pistol side. Then drag everything back to the rifle side if I want to...
The weekends usually are fine when there is a RSO on duty. I have every other Friday off and like to go then. That's when I usually see a lot of bad behavior. Weapons being handled on the line when it's supposed to be cold and people are downrange. I always try to politely state the safety rules...
The pamphlet I got with my Lee powder measure lists Alliant AR-Comp has a volume measure density of 0.0753 per cc. That multiplied times the number of grains you want to load will give you the volume in cc.
Hope this helps
I did just that but started 1/3 from the bottom of the load range. They worked absolutely great yesterday. Can't beat having too many cheap bullets for punching paper.
Glad I paid my 50 bucks for the annual pass. Absolutely perfect day to be at EF. All 12 lanes full most of the morning and mid afternoon with others waiting on deck. Everyone well behaved
I bought a couple thousand of them and of course there's no load data for them. The front of them is a little funny shaped. What length should I load them to? Just pick a similarly shaped bullet from one of the manuals? Just use a nice, conservative 2.22 inch?
Back to on topic, when I first started going to Miller's they were not very customer friendly. Lately though they seem to be a lot more talkative, helpful and actually a little friendly.
Unfortunately here in the north part of the state Miller's seems to be the only place I can find what I need, powder and primers.
X-Ring is a much nicer store but never seems to have stock.
Shooters Supply feels like you're at a flea market.
