Moving my collection to Texas, suggestions..

While the move may be next spring it could be sooner. House is on the market now. And I Need to buy a new vehicle next week. My Mustang is too small to manage wit my disabled wife, her mother, and two large dogs. So I need to decide quickly if trailer towing is a must have criteria in...

Moving my collection to Texas, suggestions..

I have recently retired and plan to move to Texas sometime next year. Need ideas on moving the collection. It is too large to consider shipping FFL to FFL. The shipping and fees would easily pay for a 1941 Johnon, maybe with K-43 thrown in. My original plan was to tow a trailer with them...

HR8 background check bill the death of the C&R?

Yes, I know it is unlikely to pass the Senate this year, but downtream.... Reading the text of the bill, it makes no exception for holders of FFL03 licenses. In other words, the whole country would be like New Jersey -- all sales through FFL01 dealers. The only utility left for the license...

House Democrats Plan Vote to Criminalize Private Gun Sales This Week

Another impact of HR8: it makes the FFL 03 C&R license useless, except for face to face purchases at out of state dealers ( a very small percentage of C&R transactions, l would bet.)

House Democrats Plan Vote to Criminalize Private Gun Sales This Week

Maryland still allows private sales of long guns. HR8 would eliminate that and require all firearms sales to go through a licensed dealer.

      Revolver re-blue needed

Yeah, the previous owner liked the two tone look, but I having a thing about leaving steel unfinished, and want a more authentic period look to it.

      Revolver re-blue needed

Made in 1906, Originally a Frontier Six Shooter (.44-40). Barrel and Cylinder changed to make it .45 Colt. No idea when it was altered. Some pitting on the frame but it functions perfectly. When I bought it I had no idea how complicated and expensive getting it refinished (or getting new...

      Seeking EVO Scorpion Carbine

Ok, my reading of the 2013 FSA, the CZ Scorpion Carbine is still Maryland legal. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. Does any dealer in MD have one for sale? Would prefer the version without the faux suppressor.

      Revolver re-blue needed

1st Gen SAA, no collector's value because it has a barrel and cylinder replacement (changing the caliber) and the finish stripped from all other parts. Not worth a full restoration. but I want something that looks like Colt factory bluing.

      Revolver re-blue needed

I have a Colt SAA that someone has stripped the finish off of, needs a complete reblue. Do you offer that service?
