      I don't really have the money at this very moment, otherwise, I'd do just that. I'm kind of trying to figure out if I'd be wasting my time or not, but I see that there's no way to find that out until I actually go to purchase the thing. Thanks a lot guys. I may not have a definitive answer...

      So, just to make sure I understood you correctly, I currently can buy/own a firearm, but come October, once the new law goes into effect, I would have to relinquish the guns that I purchased? Don't people normally get grandfathered in in scenarios like that?
