      Ammo & Supplies Auction

      Got, 180 Fed LRM primers ($11), 270+ 25gr 17cal Berger bullets ($19), 120 once-fired 30-06 brass ($12). Includes buyers premium and tax. Will use $3 gas to get them. Luckily, I'm going to WV thursday, so it adds only 25 miles to my trip to stop by and pick stuff up.

      What did you do at your reloading bench today?

      Finished up 50 rounds of 357 brass, 148gr Speer HBWC, 3.0gr of TiteGroup for some plinking with my Dan Wesson 357. Deprimed, tumbled, sized about 150 357/38spcl brass for future use.

      M1 garand loads

      I've been using 48.5gr IMR 4064 with the Speer 125gr TNT bullets. Should be just about 2800fps. I've had good accuracy with it.

      Not at the bench, but needed to load at the bench. Saturday, took a ride to RSP Gun Shop out in Falling Waters, WV. Got 2# ($37ea) Alliant Power Pro 300-MP (357 loads) and 1# ($32) Longshot (40 S&W). Looking at the receipt and remembered, no sales tax in WV on reloading supplies. No tax covered...

      Patience with Opticsplanet pays off after 19 months

      Backordered 3 boxes of 30cal 90gr Hornady XTP bullets December 10, 2020. Notified today they came in. They're charging the same price I ordered them at, $19/100 while the present price is $30, and even got my free shipping that was in effect at the time. I've never seen these in stock anywhere...

      Already got a response, refunded the tax as a gift card (which is what I used to pay originally). Said they would bump this up to try and prevent this happening again. Didn't explain where the 3.7% tax rate came from.
