S15 mags for Glock 43… Reliable?

IMHO it's not worth saving a few bucks. Glock pistols get Glock mags. Never had a May related problem with Glock mags

New to MD, can someone suggest where to live???

Look South ! Southern Maryland is a pretty nice place. Ft Meade is a 55 mile drive from central Calvert County, closer if you move a bit North. Excellent schools here or at least before Covid. Can't speak as to current situation. Housing runs from 250 K in the southern end of the county to 7...

      45 Auto brass

Blazer Brass has those evil small primer pockets. Sorting them before using a progressive is good advice. Swaging a large primer into a small pocket could get interesting.

      45-70 Handload Recommendations

Plinkers I shoot a Marlin Cowboy and tend to shoot plinkers more than full charge loads. Have had good luck with 405gr cast bullets over Unique. Charges between 10-11 grains provide good accuracy and still let you know you're shooting a big bore. One caveat, I use P Wads over the pistol powders...

      Drying Brass Methods

Another vote for the dehydrator. Will dry lots of brass in 1/2 hour. Inexpensive at WalMart

      Finn mod 39 price check

I feel your shoulder pain. This can be helped with theM39 by using a limbsaver slip on recoil pad . Additionally if you reload, I have had good results with the Speer 125gr TNT. Recoil is way reduced and can be very accurate.

Safe to use old old data?

The above caveats are spot on and important. Been pumping a press for 45 years and have manuals dating back that far and further. Charges are generally higher in the older manuals for just about everything. One consideration is the formulation of some powders has changed over the years making...
