If you are anywhere but the mountains or the Eastern Shore, I would not rely on a Democrat being "too liberal to win" in Maryland. The odds are severely stacked against that plan working out. I would use the primary to get the the most conservative or "libertarian" Democrat nominated.- Free Stater

Fair point. It seems there are 2 different MSP 'backlogs." A multi-week delay for "non-disapproval," and another "multi-day" delay in getting outbound faxes sent back to retailers with that information.- Free Stater

I'm at day 50 - purchased 1/30 and still waiting to pick up. I did finally email the MSP for a status check, though I *hated to do so and delay them in any way with their work. Purchased 1/30, and still waiting. Inquiry email back from MSP says approved and will be faxing soon. Gun shop said Friday there is often a several day delay between actual approval and when they get the faxed approval in store. Frustrating to say the least.
