I frequent Myrtle Grove and haven’t had any problems. Other than the Brass collectors wandering into my area while I’m shooting. It’s a pretty chill place, take my wife and kids there probably once a month.
Range Report: I went to Myrtle Grove a little over a week ago and tried some shots at the 5 yard line. It wasn’t bad with 410. Actually a lot of fun with 410 slugs. The 45LC were a little more stout, but still manageable. For just a fun range toy, I’ll probably stick with the 410 rds
Not seeing on the banned list, but wondering if anybody knows if I’ll run into any trouble ordering one. Kind of a long shot (no pun intended) but has anybody had any experience with one, or owned one in state? It’s semi auto, so no tax stamp required, just curious if it’s something that can be...
Just picked up a bond arms grizzly on an impulse impossible to pass up deal. Anybody have any experience with one?
I usually pass up on 410 handguns, and steer clear on derringers, but a range toy at a smoking deal got the best of me.
And before anybody asks, I own lots of other pistols...
I had one for a brief period, couldn’t get it to cycle reliably with buckshot or lighter loads. Ended up giving it to a friend to tinker with. Companies change for the better sometimes, I’m willing to give them another shot, but not really willing to pay for one right now.
P365XL, 15 rd mags, very ergonomic, optic ready. I had the P365, and just bought a P365 frame and mags. My 12 rd mags just needed a baseplate change and I am able to use them too. I shoot glocks and have some great one, I just added an optic to my daughters G48 Mos. But you really can’t beat the...
My order I placed yesterday is set to deliver tomorrow. I set a subscription for 500rds a month with free shipping. It was a decent deal. I’ll post a review on the ammo this weekend
I’ve been trying to trade for one for a couple years now, they are really rare to find on the trading market. I’ve shot a couple in some classes I’ve taken and they steal my attention everytime. Smooth, low recoiling and very ergonomic.
If you are looking for carry, I would recommend the sig P239. 8+1, feels great in the hand. When I started AIWB carry, it was my go to. I’ve moved on to my P365, but occasionally will take it back out if the safe for walking and such.
I’ve had a few over the years, never regretted them. Solid and reliable. There were a few years of poor quality control I’ve read about, most of that from what I’ve read was regarding finish. But that was short lived by my understanding.
I try to stick to 2 calibers if I have to move. But if I could only pick one, I would go with 12 ga.
Self defense, can be used for hunting squirrels and birds AND deer. Doesn’t do anything the best, but can handle quite a wide range of roles.
If I get the luxury of arming my family, I have 9mm...
Other side of the stock is missing a nice chunk. Going to ask about that at a later date.
I think I’ll give it a deep clean and go from there. My wife thinks we should sbs it. But I kind of like it the way it sits now, just need to clean it up and make sure that everything looks fine...
