      I have got my answer. No, you cannot have loaded long gun in your vehicle. NR 10-410 is not limited to only when a person is hunting. You can have an unloaded long gun in your car, regulated or unregulated. It does not have to be in a case. You can put an unloaded gun on the rack in your truck.
