A few years ago I was zeroing rifles on a friend’s farm. Had portable target backers set up at 100-200 yards. About an hour into the session a ground hog wandered out between the targets. Hit him with a 180 grain Core Loct out of a .30-06. It happened to be what I had on the bench at that...
I'm experiencing the log on issues as well. I have to log-on each time even when I check the stay logged on. Same on my work computer. No problems on other forums, so far.
I like to buy used reloading equipment to refurb. I use basic gun cleaning solvents such as Hoppes #9. From what you describe, they don't sound too far gone.
For very dirty or rusted dies I use Kroil with 000 synthetic wool. Kroil can be hard to find locally. The gun shop on Main St. in Mt...
We were shopping this past Monday at the mall in LaVale. From I-68 we could see an over-turned vehicle on Vocke Rd. between the mall entrance and the interstate.
Just wondering if anyone was serious injured.
We tried searching the web for information but found none. That may be a good sign...
The original post is from 2011. I believe there has been some controversy involving the ATF and that shop a few years back.
The wall across from the reloading dies used to be filled with long guns as well as just about the entire area behind the counter.

Excellent area. Very well organized with nice equipment.
That looks like a Sears workbench against the far wall. I began using one as a reloading bench over 30 years ago.

I've not used WD-40, but this is my method used with Kroil. Go slow. Be patient. I have removed rust from many guns without removing the bluing in this manner.

You may want do a web search on Red Dot and reduced rifle loads.
Several years ago I seem to recall reading about a respected gun
writer/reloader/gunsmith type fellow who experimented with Red Dot and reduced loads many years ago.

Google Graybeard Outdoors forum and scroll down to the H&R section. Probably the foremost experianced/enthusiasts on the web when it comes to NEF/H&R firearms.
Their Frequently Asked Questions/Information section has volumns of information. Much experimenting and fabrication has been done...
In the early 80's I went to a gun auction in Annapolis held by DNR. A couple hundred decent rifles and shotguns that had been confiscated were spreadout over many tables. At the time I was working part time at a gun shop, so I had a pretty good idea what the dealer and retail prices were for...
No. I saw on table where a fellow had some powder, a used Lee shotshell press and a few sets of dies that were sealed shut with packing tape and stored in ammo cans.
I didn't see any other reloading equipment at all.
A very disappointing show for reloading equipment and deals on sporting...
I live in Frederick Co. 15 minutes away. I cannot give a positive endorsement for this show.
I used to attend it reguarly. It went downhill. Guns and ammo prices are high, junk vendors, admission fee to much for what the show offered, etc. Not what I'm looking for. I stopped attending...
I arrived a bit after 9 AM. Found what I expected. A few guns, some reloading gear and a bit of nostalgia items.
I walked away with a set of .30-30 dies, some cleaning items and some odds and ends stuff for the reloading room.
Someone was selling a Mec reloader outfit and several sets of...
