Trouble with 870 shell elevator...
Dosen't seem to matter what brand or size I use. The elevator also flips up and stays up instead of the constant tension I think it is supposed to have. I'm wondering if the carrier dog spring is sticking or faulty. -

Hey gang, I have had no end of trouble with an 870 Express I purchased. It appears that the shell carrier doesnt move out of the shells way when I try to eject a shell by pressing the shell eject hatch down. The shell is released, but then bumps into the carrier (Or elevator)....Any ideas... -

I know this sounds a little crazy (At least to me it does), but I tried on a friends leather bomber jacket recently and was impressed by how warm it was. It made me wonder if anyone hunts in leather? Especially if you are stationary for a while (Stand, etc.).- dualhead

Schrade LB7 Question....

Wits end with an 870....
At first it would'nt even cycle rounds. They would ALL drop out of the magazine. I think there was crud in the magazine tube and the trigger group was crooked or something (Effecting how the carrier was seated. I'm going to buy some dummy rounds to give it a whirl safely at home. The slide lock... -

That's how it was happening with me. I'd rack the slide back and the shells would dump out of the magazine. I guess the carrier was stuck up and there was some issue with the magazine. Better now..
