In the past day or so since this story broke, I've been checking on cnn, newsweek, nytimes, etc to see if they'd run this story.
Big surprise - NOTHING.
Interestingly enough it did make Huffington Post, where they decided to to link it to picture montage of other politicians holding guns.
We were asked when we brought our newborn in, but it wasn't by the doctor and it wasn't a direct question. The way they phrased it was: "We used to ask if you had any firearms in the house, and many of our patients were uncomfortable with us asking that, so we don't anymore."
