Thanks for the updates guys! Melissa Dukes is indeed the person to contack at SEG; she is approachable & can explain current memberships. I understand what you mean: I have always carefully followed the range rules. You are apparently speaking about the rule applicable to the 300 yard range where steel is actually prohibited except w/ prior BOD approval. My understnding is that CAS shoots actually allow 1911A1s for something called "wild bunch" class, BUT: You MUST use lead bullets only (they generally buy less expensive steel that is too weak to stand up to jacketed ammo).- Douglas

Would that be 12th Precinct or Deep Run Rifle and Revolver? BOTH cancelled their pin shoots (Deep Run due to a neighbor's lawsuit and 12th Pricint due to pin heads on the club's Board).- Douglas
