Going to the range in MD

Thank you all for the advice. I will continue to avoid going to ranges in MD. Its simply a much less permissive environment. Going to Richmond for lobby day on the 9th to keep things this way.

Going to the range in MD

In Oct, I moved to VA. Got an acquaintance who wants to go to a range in MD. My understanding is that Maryland law on transporting requires one to go directly to the range and then home. Is that still correct? Thanks, David

Crashing Sen. Ramirez Party Again, Saturday 2/10

My own experiences I had some stuff going on yesterday so this is my first time checking the forum post-protest. I think that it went fairly well. I can see two issues. 1. If only there were a few gun owner right's activists who were clearly from PG county. 2. Next time, he will pick a...

Do we have a Due Process case on CCWs?

What about collecting some data ourselves? I don't know if it would help but to get some of the raw data, would it make sense to either host a series of HQL clinics that would securely store and track the applications or a designated person that would be able to receive voluntarily submitted...

Saiga .223, 922(r) and Maryland Law

I looked again... It makes the most sense to replace 4 internal parts as that's the safest way to go.

Saiga .223, 922(r) and Maryland Law

I'm a little confused. The Saiga has 14 regulated parts so if I replace the magazine with a 30 round promag (3 parts) and 1 internal part, I will have 10 imported parts + 4 domestic parts = 14 parts. I now take the factory magazine (10 round capacity) and reinstall it, does this mean...

Saiga .223, 922(r) and Maryland Law

I have a Saiga .223 that I bought before the 10/1 ban and transferred as a Regulated Firearm. A good friend of mine who lives in Virgina gifted me 2x 30-round ProMags. Due to concerns about 922(r), I have not collected them from him (because of concerns about constructive possession). I am...

      2nd Amendment Attorney Wanted

Quick queston If Taurus454 is suing under 1983, wouldn't it be in Federal Court not State court? If its in Federal Court, state limits on statuary damages won't apply. In addition to the ACLU, try contacting SAF if you have already contacted the NRA. There may be some other civil rights...

Submitted Today to MSP & ATF

Good I wish you the absolute best in resolving this issue in our favor. I will be doubtless doing more business with you to support the ongoing litigation. How will this work with the related appeal of our loss in the trial court trying to get FSA2013 thrown out?

Can we still buy AK-47s in MD?

What about Zatsava PAP77s? I am under the impression that some AK-like rifles such as the Zatsava M77 PAP, An AK-like .308 rifle are perfectly legal to transfer in Maryland.
