Wanted to celebrate Clarence Thomas' birthday and his amazing opinion today. What better way to celebrate a 2A victory than with a big hunk of red meat and some Rittenhouse rye in a bicentennial glass?

Heck yeah it has! My deck is old with some warped boards that are hitting up and trip me every time I walk by. I've checked Lowe's and HD at least twice a week each for two months now and can't find a treated 2x6 to save my life.
It's a red insulated shopping bag with some water bottles and snacks. I couldn't find my small cooler this morning.
The little blue box on the table is a 12 Ah 13.8v LiFePO battery to power the radio.
I went out and activated my first park for Parks on the Air this morning. In just under 2 hours I got 53 QSOs on 20m. I was using a Yaesu FT-891 wit the Chameleon MPAS 2.0 antenna system. I received several 59 reports from the east coast and Canada.
The Chameleon MPAS 2.0 is my portable HF antenna. I got the antenna last week and my new Yaesu FT-891 came yesterday. The backpack the Chameleon MPAS 2.0 came with was garbage so I ditched it and use a Direct Action Dragon Egg pack the I had. The 17' vertical antenna, 40+' wire antenna...
The antenna itself is 25' tall. It took a full day to put it together, mostly due to the worthless instructions it came with.
To mount it I dug an 18" diameter hole 3' deep, and poured in concrete that I set a 1 1/2" PVC pipe into. Then I used a piece of 1 1/2" electrical.conduit 10' long...
I thought I had posted this but I didn't. I finally got my Gap Titan DX installed and I've been making regular contacts on 20 and 40 meters with my Yaesu 450D.
This week I received a Yaesu FT-891 and a Chameleon MPAS 2.0 antenna system. I've hunted a few POTA spots so far, this weekend will...
Thanks for trying. I'll switch to 40m in a bit. I only have the MFJ-1899 telescopic antenna for this rig. In a couple weeks I'll have my 100w base station with a 40' vertical antenna online.
Cool, how about 14.310?
Oh, and I copied W2V but couldn't get through for a QSL. They are going to be be back on 14.346 at 10pm est. That's the commemorative VE Day call sign and you will get a special certificate for a QSL.
