      Shipping BP revolver

Yes just got mine 1858 New Army 5.5" and I love it. Haven't shot it because I can't find pyrodex pellets anywhere, and #10 Remington caps aren't available at Cabela's. Going to get a SS version next.

No good deed goes unpunished in MD?

No, I cannot. Even though I can buy whatever is allowed in California, and pretty much everywhere else in the USA, and the Fed has no issues with me buying legally sanction firearms, the state of MD and her representative in all their wisdom wrote a law that forbids me from owning one.

      Maryland Militia ?

I’d like to know where you got that Hello Kitty gun from, I want to get one for my little girl.

No good deed goes unpunished in MD?

Kind of resurrecting this post from the dead, here’s an update with no real updates: - Ed Hershon disappeared on me. I last spoke with him around January and he’s not been heard from since. No response to emails or voicemails. His website got updated recently but I have no idea where he is. This...

No good deed goes unpunished in MD?

No updates from Ed Hershon yet. Cooter's has sold my P7 (to a fellow board member here and I'm glad she went to a loving home), and to my surprise the tiny Beretta 25ACP that I shot maybe twice and said that's not for me. I'm encouraged by some postings here and the P7's sale will cover my...

No good deed goes unpunished in MD?

CA PC 502(c)(3) https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/codes_displaySection.xhtml?sectionNum=502.&lawCode=PEN It may be a long shot for me, but we'll see what comes out of the case. At least there will be one more data point for those considering moving to MD with their legally acquired...

No good deed goes unpunished in MD?

He did not, but I don't want to give up without even trying. Maybe what I have is a SCOTUS worthy case?

No good deed goes unpunished in MD?

Quick update: I've spoken with Ed Hershon and he is taking on my case. Hopefully the sale of the P7 will pay for this (I'm told it's not sold yet). Thanks to everyone who have given their opinion and time to reply to this thread, the insights and thought angles were amazing. Whatever the...

No good deed goes unpunished in MD?

Hindsight would have been me leaving my collection with my parents in CA where my collection was perfectly legal. I'm OK selling it since Cooter's clientele seems to be collector driven and I hope they go to a loving owner.

No good deed goes unpunished in MD?

The P7M8 is at Cooter's in Forrest Hill along with all my other guns I owned. I have literally only shot it twice (no more than 100 rounds) since buying it in the mid 90s, that's akin to my Porsche 911 air cooled collection. Comes in the original case. PM me if you bought it, I may have the...

No good deed goes unpunished in MD?

That's my question too. Whoever processed my HQL application (along with my fingerprints) obviously didn't see anything wrong with my application. But the trooper processing my 77R felt otherwise, I guess.

No good deed goes unpunished in MD?

I believe it was a 77R for voluntary registration.

No good deed goes unpunished in MD?

The one funny thing I can think of from my experience is I've never seen any government agency act so quickly. I mean if our government could replicate the speed in which the MSP showed up at my doors to take away my legally purchased property, we wouldn't have poverty, crime, and declining...

No good deed goes unpunished in MD?

Per request this is what I gave up: as you may gather I'm a German/Italian fan. I have already been talking to Ed Hershon but he apparently is very busy and couldn't call me Tuesday as planned so I'll follow up with him next week. After reading your comments I'm more cautiously optimistic...
