      Kicking Myself

...Plus shipping and whatever other fees they sneak in for paying with anything other than cash. That $350 soon becomes average retail price.

2 nice looking SVT-40's at Empire Arms now!

Bought one with a mint bore and AVT stock earlier this year for $650 shipped. Why pay top dollar when, with a little time and effort, you could find something nicer for half the price?

What I was picking up at Lou's when we set Mopar up

A&F imported these and other European arms during the early part of the last century.

A Boat Load of Finnish M39 Rifles

Mine didn't. Overall, extremely satisfied with my purchase from Pat Burns. http://www.gunsnammo.com/5575X.htm

GB "DEB" (Don't Even Bother) List

Jackson Armory. They usually have +/- 10 pages of items on Gunbroker and none have a single bid. Their prices are incredibly unrealistic, on Gunbroker as well as in their retail store in Dallas. I've been to their store and it was like the owner's personal museum. He wouldn't get off his ass to...

      Winchester Model 54

The rifle in the photo looks more like a sporterized US M1917.

A Boat Load of Finnish M39 Rifles

She just added quite a few to their selection... with a substantial price increase.

      SAMCO has Portuguese 7.62x51

Wow, I submitted an order the day they posted the loose Port and they notified me yesterday that they could not ship because it was sold out. Switched to 500 rounds of the Swede ammo.

      SAMCO has Portuguese 7.62x51

The loose Portuguese ammo is sold out but they now have loose Swedish 7.62x51.

      Hakim Probs ...

I have never had any case splits with the Yugo surplus. That being said, I was told the quality for this ammo varies by lot. Mine is "11-1956" (Factory 11, made in 1956). For anyone interested, there is a Hakim on GunBroker ending in about an hour that is still reasonably priced. I'm not sure...

      Hakim Probs ...

It was a great buy and I really enjoy owning/shooting it. Thanks again!
