      I am mounting a Nightforce base to new model 70. I have always used the short screw in the last base hole in past mounting. With this rifle I need to use the shorter of the 4 screws in the second to last hole or the bolt won't close. Is this normal? Will the longer screw interfere with the...

      I have an older Steyr Mannlicher in .308 that I want to change from the old Weaver scope base to a Picatinny rail Scope mount but I can't find any info for what base to use.
