      I believe that is Cherokee Purple, the 31.8 oz on the scale is Brandywine. The CP’s run through a Squeezo make a killer Bloody Mary.

      Jet Star is my go to market variety tomato, I have success with heirloom varieties like Brandywine and Cherokee Purple. This year I’ll try some carbon/black varieties. Last year’s drought was a killer but I had some early success.

      Raised beds materials

      Been there done that Been there done that, don't waste your money or your time building. Work nutrients into your soil (clay) screened top soil, leaf grow, horse manure etc.. Just turned mine over for the winter this weekend, grew 2lb tomatoes in it this past spring/summer before the drought.

      Earls Inn on Rt 30 a few miles east of the HD dealer, and the Blue and Grey Pub on the town square in Gettysburg. Notoriously good food and big portions at both places
