Jet Star is my go to market variety tomato, I have success with heirloom varieties like Brandywine and Cherokee Purple. This year I’ll try some carbon/black varieties. Last year’s drought was a killer but I had some early success.

Been there done that, don't waste your money or your time building. Work nutrients into your soil (clay) screened top soil, leaf grow, horse manure etc.. Just turned mine over for the winter this weekend, grew 2lb tomatoes in it this past spring/summer before the drought.
It will appear as a hole in the wall type bar, bike friendly etc..but don't let that fool ya, good food, nice people, good times.
