      Both thermal and NV aren't in the budget to get both at once, but which one is better to start with? Budget would be 3-4K for each.

      A standalone dehumidifier would heat that room up very quickly I would think unless that's not a concern.

      No problem on the length since the 91/93 receivers are longer than MP5 receivers. Using a longer side folding UMP stock puts it right at 29" and a hair.
