      Trip to DCPD

      I went to DC this morning to drop off my Concealed Carry application and firearm registration. Was in and out in about 40 minutes and the people involved were very professional and courteous. Had to go to 3 different rooms (initial application discussion, fingerprints and then picture taken)...

      Does anyone know how new members to the board are selected? I know they have to be be appointed and ultimately approved by the Senate but how does a person get nominated in the first place? Specifically, who on the Governor's staff selects the nominees to be presented to the Governor?

      CCW Applications Up in PA

      I do. I have a Maryland permit as a business owner and obtained a PA permit in Lebanon County (Southeast PA). Applied in person and received the permit in the mail in about 2 weeks. Very easy process.
