      Oh, forgot to add... 7.62/308 is an AR-10. The mag is larger so on the AR-10, the mag well is wider and longer.

      Hello. Over at cncguns.com, they are working on a Sten mag version of the lower receiver... "Sten mags can be made to work with .357 SIG, .40 S&W and probably 10mm as well. They will hold 15-17 rds of .45 and more of the smaller calibers." http://www.cncguns.com/forum/index.php?topic=1124.0
