Nice edit. Asking a question is now thinking of doing something stupid?
Consider this hypothetical: magpul comes out with new pmag, no change to internals or externals, but instead of 30x 5.56 stamped on the side, it's now stamped 10x .50 Beowulf and marketed as a ten round mag. Under Maryland...
Why not try to answer the original question? I said nothing about running that 10 round .50 Beowulf magazine in a 5.56 rifle. If someone in Maryland owns a .50 Beowulf rifle in md, could they buy a 10 round .50 Beowulf magazine for that rifle in md. That is the question.
A .50 Beowulf AR uses standard AR magazines, but a 30 round standard magazine can only hold 10 .50 Beowulf rounds. If that magazine simply had 10x .50 Beowulf written on the side instead of 30x 5.56, would it be legal to buy in MD since it is technically a 10 round magazine?
How is that a...
We all know magazines with a capacity of greater than 10 rounds are now illegal to buy/sell/transfer in Maryland.
Here is my question: Would it be legal to buy a 10 round .50 Beowulf AR magazine in Maryland?
A president Trump could use the Obama precedent to force states to either stop infringing on 2A or forfeit federal funding for that state's programs. Obama has announced that districts with schools that do not allow boys and girls to use each other's restroom/locker facilities will be denied...
I've heard piecing together an AR-10 is quite a bit more difficult than piecing together an AR-15 because AR-10 parts aren't standardized from one manufacturer to another.
Some dude did a video that demonstrated the failure to feed if it was racked in the vertical (muzzle down). I think it was this one:

Still an awesome concept though.
It depends on the risk you are willing to take. With a vise block, if you over torque the flash hider you could deform the upper receiver. The reaction rod mitigates this because it fits right into the barrel extension and keeps the upper receiver itself from being affected. If you're...
