The Official Precision Bolt Gun Picture Thread

I really like the Black G3 Razors. Hell of a group! Assuming hand loads, what was the recipe/bullet? Built this Saturday for NRL light Hunter MDT HNT26 ARC Mausingfield M7 Helix 6 26" 6.5PRC 8T PVA Jet 4 brake or KRG R30 TT Special @1.5# 10# 9oz with bi-pod & mag

      CZ 457, Bergara B14R, or....?

Yes it's the Garmin Xero. That little gem has been excellent.

For inspiration here is my rig & how it shoots @ 100y with SK LR match. Well that lower left isn't typical, the stars aligned for that one. The SD on the LR match is very good for RF IMO. 20 shots SD 9.4

      CZ 457, Bergara B14R, or....?

I also need to correct my earlier post. Apparently they are now available in a 20" heavy MTU SS barrel at a premium of course. Not my rig. This fella is from France. These Heavy barrel versions have been available in Europe for a while. Looks like they perform pretty well.

      CZ 457, Bergara B14R, or....?

If your only planing to shoot from a bench then CF is fine. If however you ever plan to shoot matches then get the steel. No matter the stock it’s going to be rear heavy. Much easier to get the steel barrel balanced & balance is important for positional shooting.

      CZ 457, Bergara B14R, or....?

I have zero complaints in the accuracy dept. & that's most important to me. I don't think std velocity gains anything past 18" & pretty sure the B14r's only come with 18". Balance is high on my priority list. I just bought the barreled action and put it in a Manners EH4 which is a smallish...

I would suggest if you go the B14R route, get the steel barrel. Even with the steel barrel, at 18" it's hard to get good balance. Love mine and the ability to run 700 triggers, pic rails, & chassis. 20 moa rail gets me past 300 with EP5 in zero moa mount. Mack Brothers mags are excellent.

      Which billet lower?

Make sure to select the Black anodize option unless your planning custom paint.

      Which billet lower?

No issues getting their 100% lowers sent to FFL. The 80% are now verboten.

      Which billet lower?

I have a Hyperfire Eclipse in my ADM. The Hyperfire's do come with pins & utilize the std. type spring detent in a pin groove. Of the triggers I mentioned the Eclipse is my current favorite. I'm a bit of a trigger snob & just haven't come across a trigger that didn't have a method to retail the...

      Which billet lower?

Yes all will accept cassette triggers, most will accept ati walk pins. Don't get hung up on those pins, mostly hype IMO. I've never run a set of the anti walk pins in anything & that's with Hyperfire, Trigger tech, Geissele, Larue, & AR Gold. All of them have a feature within the trigger beit...

      Which billet lower?

Yes JL & ADM take all typical AR mags. I machined One of the JL billet lowers in the magwell (also requires extension notches). It will allow 2.385 max load length with windowed 10rd metal mags.
