Its a factory CVA pistol, but it is a black powder single shot break action muzzle loader, which I know are exempt from federal SBR regulations. Just not sure about Maryland. Want to know so I dont make a big mistake. We are having enough trouble keeping our guns without breaking any laws...

I know that single shot muzzle loading firearms are not subject to federal SBR regulations so I can put a full shulder stock on a firearm with a shorter barrel than 16 inches without issue.
Before iI do this, I want to make sure there are no Maryland regulations...

When I ordered from Graff's they said not to even check on the order status until 4 weeks (ordered powder - in stock). If they ship within that period I'm OK. It's when a vendor doesen't do what they advertize that I stop dealing with them.
I have 2 orders pending from GRAFS (in stock). The shipping times were roughly stated. If they ship within that period, I will be satisfied. When a vendor states NEXT DAY SHIPPING and it takes 3 weeks I avoid them.
Thanks trbon8r. I looked at them and may just try to save up and go that way. I am very skilled when it comes to tedious patient hand work and think I could probably get it right, but there are the safety issues if everything isn't just right. Thanks again.
I am new here so please let me know if this is posted in the wrong place. I currently own an Essex framed target 1911 (built by a gunsmith). But I have been considering buying a new 1911 frame to start building another one myself piece by piece as i can afford. I know it will cost more this way...
